MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATED BY INDIAN ARMY AT NAGSARI, KALOROOS

Mother’s day also known as Mothering Sunday is a special day dedicated to celebrating and honoring mothers and mother figures for their love and contributions to their families and society. This day is usually observed on the second Sunday in May in many countries incuding the India and the others.

The same was celebrated in Govt. High School Nagsari, with full zeal and enthusiasm. The event saw a strength of around 40-45 people comprising of all age groups(including 16-18 mothers) along with the active participation of Asha workers.

The hard work, sacrifice and dedication that mothers make everyday was acknowledged and their overall importance was recognised among everyone. The event also provided an opportunity to discuss and create awareness about the issues of maternal health that mothers face in raising their children in their day to day lives and the need for adequate support and resources to help them in their journey.

The people expressed their gratitude and thanked IA for highlighting and reinforcing the importance of mothers in everybody’s life, which goes unnoticed many a times.
