KUPWARA, MAY 09:  District Employment and Counseling Centre (DECC) Kupwara today organized an awareness-cum-registration programme  in collaboration with Anhand Community Centre (NGO) at Khumriyal Kupwara.        The programme aims at to sensitize/aware the trainees/participants enrolled with the organization about different initiatives and programmes of the department.     Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Director Employment Kupwara, Ms Shabnam Arif Mir stressed the importance of online registration on the UT Level Employment Portal (jakemp.nic.in) which have recently been integrated with the NCS portal and other recent development and the benefits that the portal is offering to the unemployed youth/jobseeker. It is worth to mention here that 42 spot registrations were done by the skill trainees/participants enrolled with the institute. The participants were also made aware of eligibility and other criteria regarding different incentive-based self-employment schemes like Mumkin, Tejaswini and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative schemes etc of the department.       The Career Counseling Officer,  Employment Officer and  Young Professional DE&CC Kupwara provided a live demonstration for registration on UT level Employment Portal.          The programme was also attended by Programme Coordinator Anhad Community Centre Khumriyal Kupwara.                 The Participants expressed their satisfaction and gratitude towards the officers/officials of the department for organizing the event.
