SRINAGAR MAY 09:- A meeting of District Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) for Reviewing & Monitoring the progress of the 11th Agriculture Census of Srinagar District was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad here at Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex.  The meeting among others was attended by District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Anika Mushtaq, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Raies Ahmad, Chief Agriculture Officer, Manohar Lal, All Tehsildars of Srinagar District and representatives from the Office of Financial Commissioner Revenue.   At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner took a Tehsil-Wise progress of the data captured in Phase-1 for Agriculture Census 2021-22.  The DC was apprised by District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Anika Mushtaq regarding the collection of data about the number of Agricultural Operational Holders, its land utilization, Tenancy status and irrigation facilities available etc.  On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner asked the Officers of Revenue Department to complete the Census exercise and uploading of data entries on the given portal by or before May 12, 2023. The DC also asked the Assistant Commissioner Revenue to monitor the progress regarding Agriculture Census on a daily basis so that the process is expedited under a set timeline.  The DC said that the enumerators (Patwaries) are supposed to upload the data entries (Survey Numbers) on the given portal which is accepted or rejected by the supervisors (Tehsildars). He stressed on avoiding any mismatch in the Data and asked the Tehsildars to ensure all data captured is correct.  Pertinent to mention that the Census is being conducted in a phased manner and comprises three phases. The first phase of the scheme is based on complete enumeration study, whereas the other two phases are based on survey study.
