Paid gratitude to police and administration for reaching the spot immediately

Kangan, May 08: Mohammad Amin Shah district president Ganderbal for BJP visited Panzin area of Kangan Ganderbal along with other BJP members to take look at the situation of the concerning development, it has been reported that the water canal at Panzin Ganderbal is at risk of breaching, which could have catastrophic consequences. The houses of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Ghulam Nabi Rather, Mohammad Ismail Mir, Javaid Ahmad Mir, Ghulam Mohammad Wani had been evacuated. The local authorities have alerted people about the situation and have been urged to take immediate action to prevent a disaster. Last year the canal was breached which ultimately lead to the flood situation in the village.             Mohammad Amin Shah concerned about the situation said to media that, He urged the LG administration and district administration to take serious measures. He also requested to rehabilitate  Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Ghulam Nabi Rather, Mohammad Ismail Mir, Javaid Ahmad Mir, Ghulam Mohammad Wani to somewhere safer. “One of the suggested measures to avoid the breach and ensure the safety of the people is to make the canal concrete. This would not only strengthen the canal and prevent any further damage but also ensure that the flow of water is smooth and uninterrupted. It is high time that the authorities take action and allocate the necessary resources to ensure the safety of the people living in the village. Failure to do so could result in severe consequences, which will be too disasterous” added Shah. He also paid the gratitude to the district administration and police especially Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Mr Shyambir, SDM Kangan Javaid Ahmad Rather, Tehsildar Kangan Javaid Ahmad, SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar, SDPO Muzaffar Ahmad and SHO Kangan Zahoor Ahmad for taking action immediately at the spot.
