UDHAMPUR, APRIL 14: Deputy Commissioner, Krittika Jyotsna today visited District Hospital Udhampur to assess the medical facilities being provided to those injured in the Beni Sangam Foot Bridge collapse in Chenani block. The incident occurred during a crowded gathering during Baisakhi Mela. The DC interacted with the injured and instructed hospital authorities to provide the best treatment to the victims. The Deputy Commissioner informed that district administration is monitoring the medical care being provided to the victims. A total of 62 people were injured, of which 25 were shifted to the district hospital and 5 critically injured have been referred to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.
