GANDERBAL, MARCH 30: Ram Navami was today celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety here at Kheerbawani Temple Tulamulla, decorated with flowers and lights.

Since early morning, thousands of devotees thronged to the temple and paid obeisance there. They also participated in Arti and Bhajansandhya.

The Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir also visited the Temple and paid obeisance there. He also wished happy and prosperous Ram Navami to the people and prayed for peace, prosperity and development of the UT.

On the occasion the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the arrangements being put in place by various departments for the devotees and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements being put in place.

Pertinently, the District administration had made elaborated arrangements for the devotees with regard to water and power supply, medical facilities, security arrangements, Bhandara service, arrangements for sanitation and cleanliness and other related arrangements to ensure visiting devotees may not face any inconvenience.
