Advisor Bhatnagar inspects Integrated Development of Tourist facilities at Mantalai

UDHAMPUR, MARCH 30: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, today inspected the Integrated Development of Tourist facilities at Mantalai-Sudh Mahadev and inspected the ongoing construction works there.

He also took stock of healthcare facilities besides assessing other basic utilities in the area. He also reviewed progress on road construction project from Chenani to Mantalai.

On the occasion, representative of National Projects Construction Corporation (NPCC) gave a brief account about the present status of ongoing developmental works in the area.

Speaking on the occasion, Advisor Bhatnagar said that this prestigious road project will be the game changer for Udhampur district as it will generate lot of employment avenues as well as contribute significantly in economy of the district.

Advisor Bhatnagar also emphasized the need for timely completion of the projects.

Later, Advisor visited Allopathic Sub centre, Mantalai and interacted with the staff and patients there. He also visited the newly constructed building of NTPHC Health Center and took stock of facilities there.

He directed the officers to immediately take over the building and start health services there as the center caters to more than 15 adjoining villages.

During the visit, Advisor Bhatnagar also interacted with the local officials and discussed the important issues pertaining to development of the area.

Later, Advisor Bhatnagar visited Sudhmahadev and interacted with locals assessing their issues and concerns. He also paid obeisance at the Sudhmahadev temple.
