Srinagar, Mar 20 : Authorities on Sunday informed that the water supply in many areas of Srinagar will remain affected on Monday in wake of cleaning of Service Reservoir of Alesteng Water Treatment Plant.

In a public notice, a copy of which lies with the news agency Executive Engineer Water Works Division Srinagar has said that the Service Reservoir of Alesteng Water Treatment Plant, having capacity of 18 lakh gallan is being cleaned today.

He said that in the wake of the cleaning process, the water supply will remain affected from Monday 08 AM to 10 PM in many areas including Pandach, Buchpora, Soura, Anchar, Zonimar, Nowshehra, Bagh-e-Ali Mardan Khan, Zadibal, Hawal, Alamgari bazar, Rajouri Kadal, Nalamar areas, Nawa Kadal, Bohri Kadal, Nowhatta, Hazratbal, Saderbal, Nigeen, Saida Kadal, Lal Bazar and adjacent areas
