AMO Horticulture P&M organises awareness camp at Kupwara

KUPWARA,  MARCH 16: One day Awareness Camp on Post Harvest management of Horticulture Produce and PMFME (ODOP) was organised  by  Area Marketing Office Horticulture  (P&M) Kupwara at Fruit Mandi Bumhama Kupwara.
           DDC member Drugmulla, Advocate Aamina;  Head KVK Kupwara Dr. Kaisar;  CHO Kupwara  Muneer Ahmad and other dignitaries participated  in the camp, besides,  a large gathering of growers/SHG’s.
         Speaking at the occasion, the speakers threw light on post harvest management of Horticulture produce, its storage, marketing and other benefits.  The experts of the concerned departments gave detailed know- how  to the participants and were asked to further disseminate the knowledge in their respective areas so that more and more farmers could get benefited.
         On the occasion the farmers while sharing their feedback said that more such awareness programmes should be conducted by the Department in the district.
