Sarpanch including 4 Drug Peddlers arrested in Pattan Singpora

4 Drug Peddlers arrested including Sarpanch Singhpora Pattan; 40 Syrups of Codiene Phosphate (Torvirex) recovered from them at Rawathpora Delina; Vehicle seized; Case registered
Police under the supervision of Sh Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad-JKPS, Offg. DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by PSI Showkat Ahmad, IC PP Delina arrested 2 Drug Peddlers namely Majid Ahmad Sheikh S/O Javaid Ahmad Sheikh R/O Muqaam Rajwara Handwara, Farooq Ahmad Malik (Sarpanch Singhpora) S/O Ghulam Hassan Malik R/O Singhpora Pattan,Sajad Ahmad Sheikh S/O Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh R/O Raipora Palhallan Pattan & Faisal Ahmad Wani S/O Zahoor Ahmad Wani R/O Wani Mohalla Pattan who were travelling in a vehicle Scorpio bearing registration No. DL4CNB-9313 from Srinagar towards Baramulla and were intercepted at naka checking near *Hyundai Showroom Rawathpora Delina*. All Drug Peddlers were taken into custody immediately and vehicle was also seized.

During their personal search *40 syrups of Codeine Phosphate (Torvirex)* was recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately.
Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigations set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
