10) days Skiing course for children organized by Range Police Headquarters Baramulla under the aegis of Civic Action Programme 2022 in which 30 children mostly wards of Police Martyrs participated got concluded at Gulmarg Baramulla. Worthy DIG (P) NKR Baramulla Shri Vivek Gupta-IPS was chief guest of the event. The event was witnessed by galaxy of officers from Police and Civil administration of District Baramulla. The aim of the event was to boost the hidden potential and to provide platform for youth to showcase their talent and provide them to demonstrate their abilities at regional and national level. While addressing worthy DIG (P) NKR Baramulla praise the contestants for their exemplary skills and talent and reiterated that J&K Police has been conduting such pgorammes from time to time under Civic Action Programme, the Skiing course was organized under the aegis of the same endeavor in which the students of Police Public School Baramulla and wards of Police Martyrs participated. The chairing officer lauded the efforts of civil administration for making the event successful. Worthy DIG (P) NKR Baramulla further conversed that aim of organizing such events is to inculcate the sportsmanship spirit, positive values in the youth and attempts to keep them away from drug abuse and other social evils. The said event got culminated today and the participants exhibited good demonstration and showcased high-quality performance during the whole event. Jammu and Kashmir Police has been conducting such programmes from time to time and is committed to do so in near future also. Later on worthy DIG (P) NKR Baramulla distributed appreciation certificates and mementoes among the winner participants, also participation certificates/medals were distributed among all the participants. The participant students applauded the efforts made by J&K Police for organizing such mesmerizing initiative and thanked J&K police for providing them such platforms.
DIG (P) NKR at the conclusion of the event presented vote of thanks to all.
