RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 28: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today convened a meeting to discuss the issues related to relocation of HT towers on the new alignment of national highway (NH44) here in his office chamber.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Sharma; ACR, Gias-Ul-Haq; DFO, Ramban, Rajan Singh; DFO, Social Forestry, Mahesh Thakur; Engineers from TLMD besides other concerned officers attended the meeting.

The officers discussed in detail issues related to land acquisition, Forest clearance and other allied issues regarding the execution of work on the prestigious NH-44 four laning project.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress on shifting of TLMD HT towers and other utilities on the new alignment of Highway four-lane project, especially in Mehar area.

He directed the concerned department to take up the shifting of tower work in time to avoid any power breakdown and untoward incident besides ensuring immediate protection of vulnerable towers.
