The famous ski-resort of Gulmarg  recorded the second lowest temperature in the month of February in a decade at minus 13.5 degree Celsius, an independent weather forecaster, Faizan Arif Keng said on Sunday.

He told the news agency— that the night temperature in Gulmarg has dropped to minus 13.5 degree Celsius, which is the second lowest temperature in the month of February in the past one decade.  Earlier, on February 07 in 2019, the night temperature dropped to 14.2 degree Celsius, which is the lowest night temperature in the month of February in a decade.

Moreover, other than Kupwara, all stations of Kashmir have recorded around normal temperatures.  In Srinagar, the mercury settled at minus 0.6 degree Celsius while in Qazigund it settled at minus 1.5 degree Celsius.  Pahalgam in South Kashmir recorded a low of minus 4.0 degree Celsius while the mercury settled at minus 4.7 degree Celsius in Kupwara.
