The meeting was chaired by Sh. Sheikh Tahir Amin JKPS flanked by Insp. Om Parkash SHO Chenani.

The meeting was attended by chairman Municipal Committee Chenai Mr Manik Gupta along with all the Counsellors, Sarpanchs, Numberdar, chowkidar and respectables of Chenani Town. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like Traffic Congestion ,Non Availability of Parking Space and other Issues pertaining to Civil Administration.

SDPO Chenani assured participants that the issues pertaining to the police will be resolved within shortest possible time and other issues will be taken up with the civil administration for their early redressal. Besides, SDPO Chenani imparted a valuable information regarding the drug menace in the society and prevailing security scenario in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. SDPO also aware the participants to remain extra vigilant in their day-to-day life keeping in view the security scenario of Jammu division. The PCPG meeting was focused on the mission “Stark Nagrik Abhiyaan” to disseminate the message of govt. to every citizen of the country to remain extra-vigilant during their routine works.

People were requested to cooperate/support in addressing these issues and maintain peace in the area.
