BUDGAM, JANUARY 09: The District Administration Budgam today organized a Farewell cum Welcome function for the outgoing SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem on his transfer and SSP Al Tahir Gilani for assuming the charge as new SSP Budgam at Conference Hall, here.  At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner Budgam S F Hamid appreciated outgoing SSP for his cooperation and coordination in maintaining a peaceful law and order situation during his tenure.  The DC praised him for his excellent work in Nasha mukt, crime tackling, covid management and other areas. He said that outgoing SSP led his police team with clarity of heart and shall be remembered for his humbleness, humility and public friendly approach in the district.  The DC, welcoming the new SSP, hoped that best support and cooperation shall continue under his abled guidance so that both civil and police administration continue to work in coordinated manner in the district.  ADDC, ADC among other officers extended their best wishes to both New and outgoing SSPs for their new assignments.  Speaking on the occasion, SSP Al Tahir Gilani assured full support to the administration and said he will try his best to deliver up to the expectations of the general public.  Outgoing SSP Budgam  addressed the gathering, thanked the DC Budgam and all senior officers for their support and appreciation. He commended their combined efforts for keeping things calm in the district and encouraged that trend to continue in future also.  He noted that the law and order situation was also under control due to the cooperation and good relationship between the district administration and police. He said he will cherish each moment of his successful tenure as SSP Budgam.
