Deputy Commissioner Rajouri reviews functioning of Revenue Department

RAJOURI, JANUARY 04:  Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today took a comprehensive review of the functioning of the Revenue Department here in a meeting.

During the meeting, the DC inquired about the online services of the department and sought upto date status in this regard. The concerned officers apprised the meeting about the same.

Stress was laid on the priorities of the Government like digitisation of Jamabandies, efficient delivery of all online revenue services and other public friendly initiatives started by the Government to bring transparency and accountability in the department.

He directed the revenue officers to educate the public about the online services and motivate them to avail the benefits of the same.

The DC also emphasized upon the revenue officers to make sure that the Government institutions in their respective jurisdictions function properly. He also asked them to ensure regular monitoring of the progress on developmental projects for their timely completion.

He also exhorted everyone to work with zeal and dedication to provide the best services to the public and help alleviate the hardships of the common masses.
