Sopore, Jan 04 : A 27-year-old youth has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death in Hib Dangerpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.   Officials told the news agency— that a 27-year-old youth (name withheld) has hanged himself to death at his residence in Hib Dangerpora village of Sopore.   They said that he was rushed to SDH Sopore where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, confirming the incident, a police official told that they have taken the cognizance of the incident and started the further investigations.   Pertinently, this is the second alleged suicide case reported from the district within a period of five days.   Earlier, five days ago a girl ended her life by jumping into river Jhelum in Baramulla—(agencies)
