29 Bn, CRPF under the “Jashn-e-Chillai-Kalan” organised Debate, Singing and Painting Competitions

29 Bn, Srinagar Sector, CRPF has always been a front runner in providing helping hand to the youth, sports persons and civilians. Taking forward this tradition, 29 Bn, CRPF under the “Jashn-e-Chillai-Kalan” organised Debate, Singing and Painting Competitions today.

The Competition was inaugurated by Sh. Chhotan Thakur, Commandant, 29 Bn CRPF in the presence of Sh. Anil Kumar Jha, 2-I/C and Sh. Chanchal Parwana, Dy. Comdt. In this competition, a total of 25 youngsters (including 10 girl Participants), from various Schools/Colleges along with their guardians, teachers participated and had a fun filled day. Certificates of participation and medals were given to each and every participant.

The winners and Runners up of all the events were
awarded with trophies. Sh. Chhotan Thakur, Commandant, 29 Bn congratulated all the winners and participants for their enthusiasm. He also emphasised on the importance of such events and assured that such events will also be organized in future for more and more engagement with the youth and for providing them with greater opportunities to showcase their talent.

The teachers and parents, present on the occasion, lauded the efforts of CRPF to connect with youngsters.
