District Administration, Bandipora organised the Tribal Winter Festival at Kiatsan (Bandipora) on 30 Nov 22 in collaboration with the Tourism, Tribal Welfare Departments and Wular Battalion of Indian Army. Dr Owais Ahmad, IAS, District Development Commissioner, Bandipora inaugurated the festival which received overwhelming response from locals dressed up in traditional attire. The programme consisted of variety of events which were mixture of music, dance and depiction of culture through music and dances that attracted the attention of people and enthralled the audience who responded and appreciated by cheering at them. In addition, stalls were organised of various departments including Agriculture, NRLM, Tourism, Revenue, Horticulture etc. The programme was attended by DDC Member Aloosa, Mewa Jan, Padmashri Faisal Ali Dar, BDC Aloosa and officials of Army, District administration, PRIs and a large gathering of men, women and children.
