INTER SCHOOL WALKATHON (KOSHISH) FOR AWARENESS ABOUT MENACE OF DRUG ABUSE IN SOCIETY

Srinagar, 11 Oct 2022 : As part of the ongoing efforts of Army to empower the youth,  White Globe a public charitable trust working for the purpose of general welfare and betterment of society organized an Inter School Walkathon named “Koshish” with the support of Indian Army on 10 October 2022 to spread Awareness about menace of Drug Abuse. A total of 1000 Students from 17 Schools participated in the event with zeal and enthusiasm. The Aim of the walkathon was to bring together individuals of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds to fight the menace of the rising drug abuse in the valley. Walkathon also an attempt to send a message to all age groups and instill the habit of walking into our everyday routine.The one kilometre walkathon was flagged off at 0730 hrs on 10 October 2022 from Wayil Junction, Ganderbal.
