ADC Doda discusses Implementation of District Environmental Plan

DODA, SEPTEMBER 29: Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr R K Bharti today discussed the implementation of the District Environmental Plan at the meeting of District Environment Committee held in his office chamber.

Threadbare discussion was held regarding action taken on execution of the DEP in the district by different departments, which include Solid Waste management, Plastic waste management, Bio-medical Waste Management, Domestic Sewage Management and Water Waste Management etc.

It was informed that JPDC has submitted the required details regarding E- Waste in the office of Divisional Officer PCC at Doda.

Tenders for establishment of Material Requirement Facilities MRF for Solid Waste Management Plant shall be floated soon by MC Doda.

ADC directed the concerned to go through the instructions in the OAO 33/ 2021 and implement the directions applicable to their departments. District Industries Centre Doda was directed to implement the measures of waste management in the industrial areas of the district.

The meeting was attended by ACP Doda, DIO DIPR Doda, DO PCC, CEO Doda, Ex En JPDCL, Dy CMO Doda, Representative of GM DIC Doda and other concerned officials.
