DC Ganderbal releases 5 Publications of the District

GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 01: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today released four vital publications highlighting the socio-economic profile of Ganderbal District and One Evaluation Study on National Health Mission (NHM) during a simple book release function held in his office Mini Secretariat, here.

The Books released were District Statistical Hand Book, District at a Glance, Economic Review and Village Amenity for the year 2021-22 and One Evaluation Study on National Health Mission (NHM).

Chief Planning Officer Ganderbal, Irfan Ahmed Giri and District Statistics & Evaluation Officer Ganderbal, Akhter Hussain Malik were present in the release ceremony.

District Statistics and Evaluation Office Ganderbal is the Nodal Agency for collection, compilation and dissemination of important statistical data in the District. The data contained in these publications and Evaluation will serve as an important tool for the researchers, Planners, Students and other users in their respective fields.

After releasing the publications, the DC hailed the efforts of field functionaries in collection of data and stressed on improvement of these publications in future with regular updating and wide coverage. He also highlighted the findings of the Evaluation study and pointed out the suggestions/recommendations for consideration of the Health department for better implementation of the scheme.

Important to mention that all publications are available for public domain and citizens can download the same from the Official Website of District Administration linked DSEO Ganderbal website.
