Playfield dedicated to youth for sports activities today

KULGAM, JULY 02: While taking lead in developing playfields with a commitment to provide better sports infrastructure to the sports lovers and youth of the district, the Rural Development Department with  active support of district Administration Kulgam  has now developed one more playfield at Aadigen which spreads over an area of 62 kanals of land.

This playfield was developed with an estimated cost of 30 lacs and was today inaugurated by the District Development Chairperson Kulgam, Mohammad Afzal Parrey and Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr.Bilal-Mohi -Ud-Din-Bhat in presence of DDC member Mohammad Abass Rather, PRI members,officers, sports persons and locals during a simple and impressive inauguration function which was organized by the Department of RDD Kulgam.

Speaking on the Occasion the DDC chairperson complimented the RDD and district Administration Kulgam for developing sports infrastructure which he terms will provide a platform to youth to hone their talent.

The Deputy Commissioner while addressing the gathering said that 170 playfields have been developed in the district and reiterated that  District Administration is committed to provide much better sports infrastructure taking in consideration the latest demands  to provide platform and sports infrastructure to channelize the energy of youth towards sports activities.

ACD Mohmmad Imran Khan, ACR,Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz, BDO, Tehsildar and other officers were also present on the occasion.
