Web Application titled ‘District statistical Handbook’ launched on the occasion
BUDGAM, JUNE 29: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today paid tribute to Prof. Prasanta Chandra Mahalonabis (also known as father of Indian statistics) in an event organised on the occasion of National Statistics Day.
During the event, the basic Statistics of all the sectors of District Budgam reflected in specified formats consisting of Census as well as Non-Census data was launched.
Furthermore, four Publication Digests viz. District Statistical Handbook, Village Amenity, District at a Glance & Economic Review, for the year 2020-21 prepared by District Statistics & Evaluation Office Budgam was also released.
District Statistics and Evaluation Officer Budgam, Assistant Commissioner Development Budgam, Assistant Director Planning Budgam and others were present in the event.
