A Large gathering of people Participated in the day long Programme and Various Prominent Personalities  including  Inspector panchayat, Panchayat secretaries, PRI’s from block tujar ,aanganwari  and Asha workers were present.

On the Occasion Dr Mir Inayat Chief warden CD Baramulla spoke on alarming rise of drug abuse amongst youth and role of civil society in minimizing its hazards on international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.

Expressing concern regarding the alarming rise of drug abuse speakers stressed on the need of awareness in general masses regarding drug abuse, its causes and preventive measures. They emphasized that drug addiction is an illness and the people involved in drug addiction should be treated like other sick patients and brought to professional help.
