DSP traffic NHW Banihal Asgar Malik said that restoration work has been started by highway construction company and it will take 3 to 4 hours to clear the debris from the highway.

Srinagar June 17: Vehicular traffic was halted on the Srinagar-Jammu highway on Friday after rockslide at Rompadi near Banihal in J&K’s Ramban district, officials said.

As per an official, a massive boulder slide occurred in the area during 4 lane construction work there.

When contacted DSP traffic NHW Banihal Asgar Malik said that restoration work has been started by highway construction company and it will take 3 to 4 hours to clear the debris from the highway.
