Asks officers to work on mission mode to complete targets

KUPWARA, JUNE 16: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today directed Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other Revenue functionaries of the district to complete digitization of Jamabandies on mission mode and fixed timeline for its completion.

The DC said this while addressing a meeting of Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars, Patwaris and other concerned officials of Kupwara, Trehgam, Kralpora, Keran and Drugmulla tehsils.

The meeting was aimed at reviewing the progress regarding digitization of Jamabandies under Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).

Khalid Jehangir stressed upon the Revenue officers and Patwaris to work with added dedication so that the targets could be achieved within the fixed timeline.He said that digitization software can be easily accessed. He asked officers to take this task on priority basis and warned officials showing laxity.

The DC asked concerned officers to contact ADC or ACR for resolving issues if any.

Earlier, General Manager RAMTECH provided awareness and training to the participants. On the occasion, a film was also shown to the participants to clear the concepts of DILRMP.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat; Assistant Commissioner Revenue; District Informatics Officer, Project Manager RAMTECH were also present in the meeting.
