Seek support for Waqf shopkeepers at Boulevard, upkeep of shrines in Valley 
Srinagar: Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK) called on Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darshan Andrabi. The CCIK delegation was led by its President Tariq Rashid Ghani who was accompanied by Sr  Vice President Bashir Ahmad Beigh, Jr VP Ghulam Mohiuddin Khan, Treasurer Showkat Hussain and Adnan Shah Chaiman Youth Committee and EC member Atif Khan.
CCIK apprised Dr Andrabi about the issues shopkeepers at Boulevard having Waqf properties are facing. CEO Waqf Board was also present in the meeting.
The CCIK urged Dr Andrabi to provide every kind is support the shopkeepers for their smooth functioning and promotion.
President CCIK Tariq Rashid Ghani said the shrines in the Valley are not only important for religious activities but also an important tourism sector.
The CCIK urged  Dr Andrabi for taking the steps in maintaining the upkeep of all shrines in the Valley.
Dr Andrabi gave patient hearing to the CCIK delegation and assured them of full support and cooperation in promoting the shopkeepers at Boulevard.
She also emphasized on improving the infrastructure and upkeep in and around the shrines to attract not only devotees but also the travelers.
