Batch of 83 Haj pilgrims from Ramban leave for Srinagar

RAMBAN, JUNE 10: A batch of 83 intending Hajj pilgrims of district Ramban today send off for Srinagar from Jamia Masjid Ramban in JKRTC buses.

Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan; President, Municipal Council, Ramban, Sunita Sumbria; Additional SP, Rajni Sharma; CEO, MC Ramban, Vishwajeet; ARTO, Shafqat Majid; Tehsildar HQA, Mohd Ashraf; Tehsildar Ramban, Rafiq Ahmed; religious leaders and prominent citizens of civil society were present on the occasion.

Congratulating the intending Hajj pilgrims for getting an opportunity for performing Hajj, the Chairperson appealed to them to pray for the development, peace, prosperity and communal harmony in the country and UT of Jammu & Kashmir.

Extending best wishes to them, President, Municipal Council also expressed her hope for their comfortable journey and stay at Srinagar as well as abroad.

It is pertinent to mention here that the District Administration has made elaborate arrangements for the comfortable and smooth journey of the intending Hajj pilgrims to Srinagar.
