Organises awareness rally against ill-effects of tobacco

May 31:The place where drugs and other illegal activities used to be a hot talk on Tuesday celebreated World No Tobacco Day.
Zaingeer a place in north Kashmir’s Sopore belt which used to be voilance full area in terms of militancy, other anti activities related issues, on Tuesday came forward with an aim to to spread the message far and wide to save the younger generation from getting perished into drugs.
The students from Government Higher Bomai, GDC Bomai, Prime Public School Bomai,High Field Scientific School Dangerpora,Besides civil society Bomai,Youth Building and Peace Foundation Trust Bomai, Civil Defence Organization/ SDRF Baramulla, Medical/ICDS/Asha Workers participated in the rally.
The rally started from Government Higher Bomai and culminated at Main Market in the area.
The participants stressed that every citizen ought to play their role in eliminating the curse of drugs.
The students propagated key messages like ‘quit smoking’, tobacco or health’, etc.
The guests on the occasion including Tehsildar Bomai Mohammad Asif Malik (KAS),Dr Mir Inayat,Principal Higher Secondary Bomai Abdul Ahad Gojri, Station House Officer Bomai Imtiyaz Ahmad, besides senior citizens were present on the occasion
Pertinently, The program was organised by Peace Foundation Trust, Civil Defence/ SDRF Baramulla in collaboration with Government Higher secondary school Bomai.
