A Motivational Seminar was organized by Mendhar Gunners under the aegis of Ace of Spdes Gunners for children of Mendhar and surrounding localities to encourage and guide them to join Sainik Schools, Military Schools RIMC and NDA as part of project Sadhbhavna.
The seminar was conducted at Govt Degree College, Mendhar. A total of 100 students from classes 5th to 10th and Ex Service Men with their children attended the seminar.
The aim was to make the young ones aware of the procedures and preparations required to be done for entry in said schools and Military Academies.
A special guest video lecture by Col Amardeep Singh,SM (Retd), Chief Consultant of Winning Edge, Defence Academy, Dehradun, was also taken to provide professional guidance on how and when to start preparing for these entrance examinations.
Students, teachers and locals thanked Mendhar Gunners for organizing such seminars as there is very little awareness in far flung areas about avenues of joining such schools and becoming officers in Indian Armed Forces.
