Jammu: Former MLC and senior BJP leader Vibodh Gupta today reiterated that Pakistan occupied Jammu Kashmir (POJK) is an integral part of India and the day was not far away when we will reclaim the same from our neighbouring nation.
Gupta said this while mobilizing the people at Mahakali Nagar here to attend a gathering at Gandhi Nagar on 8th of May, being organized by Jammu Kashmir Peoples Forum, to pay tributes to those who lost their lives in POJK during Pakistan attack.
Gupta, who is also member of POJK Sharnarthi Samiti, told that under the strong leadership of Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi no enemy could dare to enter our territory, not an inch of land has been lost and is also committed to retrieving every inch of Indian land from Pakistan.
We had passed a resolution in our Parliament in 1994 that POJK is an integral of India and we will reclaim our territory under the leadership of PM Modi, he added. He asked the PoJK refugees and others to attend the forthcoming program in large number to pay tributes to the people who lost their lives in PoJK at the time of Pakistani attack.
He mentioned that BJP government at Centre has left no stone unturned for the welfare and settlement of PoJK refugees. And in future also the same will contine, he added.
Ajay Sharma, Member, PoJK Sharnarthi Samiti said that the partition of Indian subcontinent was the greatest tragedy in the history of mankind and added that while India suffered the tragedy of partition, Jammu and Kashmir suffered the second tragedy of losing out a part of the erstwhile state to illegal occupation of Pakistan (PoJK).
Pt. Ashok Khajuria, Convenor, PoJK Refugee Cell said that the India under the leadership of Prime minister Narendra Modi is resolved to retrieve PoJK from the illegal occupation of Pakistan. He said it was always believed and said that Article 370 would never be abrogated but under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this was made possible and in the same way the resolve to retrieve PoJK would also be accomplished.
The meeting was organized by Pritam Lal Sharma, Convenor. Among those present included Tilak Raj, Tika Ram, Capt.(Retd.) Suraj Parkash, Maheshwar Nath, Suraj Parkash Khajuria, Pushp Sharma, Pt Surinder Kumar, Meenu Sharma, Peshari Devi, Shanti Devi and Amol Sudan.
