Qazigund April 28: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla, the teams of officials from Revenue, FCS&CA, police, municipality and other concerned department’s conducted intensive market checking drive in Qazigund market.
The aim of the drive is ensuring availability of standard quality products at government notified rates, maintaining equitable priceline besides curbing hoarding, black marketing and profiteering of essential commodities.
The officials stressed on the trader’s to display and abide by the notified rates and avoid the malafide practices.
During the checking, the authorities realised suitable and proportionate fines from the erring shopkeeper’s.
