Today light to moderate rain/snow is expected at most parts of Kashmir and some places of Jammu.

Day temperature will stay below 6.5°C in most parts of the Valley.

Gradually, from today evening, the intensity of rain/snow will pick up. Jammu region will receive light to moderate rain showers, along with snowfall in higher reaches.
A heavier spell is expected in parts of Ramban, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Udhampur and Kishtwar.
Windy weather along with thundershowers possible in Jammu and Kathua districts.

In Kashmir Valley, heavy snowfall is very likely over higher reaches of Shopian, Budgam, Baramulla, Kupwara, Anantnag and Kulgam districts.

In plains, light to moderate snowfall is expected at most places (chances 60%) (Though a slight temperature variation can change it to all rain).

Tomorrow, the day temperature is expected to stay below 5°C at most places of Kashmir, though may increase by a few degrees in the late afternoon at some places.

In Ladakh’s Kargil, moderate snowfall is expected during the next 48hrs while in Leh, light snowfall is possible.
