16 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized.
Poonch: On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Inder Jeet a team of Mining department and Police department laid down nakas at various locations of the district.
During the nakas, the District Mining Officer, Javid Iqbal and team of police department led by SSP Poonch, Rohit Baskotra seized/fined 16 vehicles on the spot in different areas of district poonch including, 3 vehicles from surankote, 4 from Mandi, 2 from loran, 3 from Mendhar, and 4 from Mankote.
