To pay homage to the Martyrs of the nation and to acknowledge their contribution in freedom struggle, the district police
Poonch on Sunday observed 2 minutes silence in all the police units located across the district.
At district police lines Poonch, all police stations, police posts and other units of police, the officials and officers assembled and observed two minute silence paying homage to all the Martyrs of the country.
SSP POONCH Sh Rohit Baskotra JKPS said that martyrs of country sacrificed their lives for the freedom of this motherland and they will always be remembered for their contribution so that coming young generations can draw inspiration from the gallant action of the martyrs.
