Rashtriya Rifle Battalion under the aegis of Headquarters 6 Sector Rashtriya Rifles celebrated 73 Republic Day’ at all company locations of the unit and at Daraba with fervour and high spirits involving local population. The event saw overwhelming participation by the civilians negating extreme weather which displayed their patriotic spirit and nationalistic sentiments. At all locations, hoisting of National Flag was done followed by singing of National Anthem. This was also preceded by cultural programmes which displayed the secular colour of the nation and association of the people with the country and their love, devotion and patriotism towards “Mother India The event further strengthened the existing bond between Indian Army and the Awam and is another step forward towards normalcy in the region.
