Kupwara, Jan 26: Block Development Council (BDC) Member from Nutnussa in north Kashmir’s kupwara district Wednesday hoisted the national flag of the block office and the local Army unit in presence of officials and local citizens.
The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated across India and the Kashmir valley on Wednesday.
BDC Nutnussa hoisted the national flag at the Block office and the local Army unit (47 RR) earlier today.
Both events witnessed a huge rush of the general public and officials from both civil administration and Amry and Police.
The BDC urged people to follow the COVID appropriate behavior to keep the virus away adding that people need to continue to work for nation-building.
Apart from the two mega-events she also took part in the plantation drive in the area and a huge number of saplings were planted.
