Lauded DC Ganderbal and SSP Ganderbal for enforcing CAB and SOPs issued by govt
Ganderbal, 22, Jan; Social activist and District Secretary Apni Party Ganderbal Mohammad Amin Shah urged general public to strictly adhere to Covid-19 Appropriate Behavior (CAB) and related SOPs to prevent the spread of coronavirus, and its highly contagious Omicron variant. He stressed on the need for use of masks, maintaining social distance, hand washing and not venturing out of their homes unnecessarily. Shah appealed to the people not to believe in hearsay and get vaccinated. Follow proper COVID guidelines in case of symptoms and don’t hesitate to get tested and get booster doses. It’s time again that we should avoid making public gatherings and stop leaving home unnecessarily and take care of ourselves and family members.
In a statement Shah lauded the role of Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Krittika Jyotsna, SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar, ASP Ganderbal Yahya Feroz, DySP Headquarters Ganderbal Dr. Majid, SHO Ganderbal Gulzar Hussain, SHO Kheer Bhavani Mudasir Zaroo, SHO Lar Gulzar Ahmed, SHO Kangan Zahoor Ahmed Turk, SHO Gund Abdul Rashid Mir and SHO Sonamarg Younus Bashir for heightened surveillance, enforcing the fresh guidelines issued by the government in the wake of surge in COVID cases and the detection of Omicron strain of Coronavirus. Ganderbal police are keeping constant vigil on adherence of Covid appropriate behaviour to arrest the spread of the virus. He said that Ganderbal administration has done commendable job in curbing the COVID cases during 1st and 2nd wave also.
Shah further appealed to leaders of different communities, religious leaders and others to co-operate with the District Administration Ganderbal in this 3rd wave also like in Ist and 2nd waves and influence upon people to adhere to CAB and related SOPs to save the precious lives. He said that cooperation between public and administration is the only way to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
