On the occasion of India Army day on 15 Jan 2022, 40 FD REGT at Dawar organised various indoor games for the children and youth. Indoor games including carrom, chess, table tennis etc was organised for the youngsters from wanpora, Dawar and khandiyal village. Given the present circumstances of extreme weather conditions and heavy snowfall, the Games served as much sought after rejuvenation for the children. Healthy competitive spirit was on show along with importance of the team work and symbiotic relationship.Commemorating the army day, a lecture cum debate was also organised on ‘Role of youth in the future of Kashmir’ to inspire young minds to contribute to the future of Kashmir. The event concluded with a lunch and felicitation of prizes to the winners. The culmination of event was marked by smile on the face of each child and glitter in the eyes look forward to contribute to a bright and prosperous furure of Kashmir. Roaring forty continues to work towards aligning the youth in the right direction and take all.
