Ganderbal 16th Oct: A stringent action has been taken by Ganderbal Police against 04 tripper drivers namely 01.Nazir Ahmad Dar S/O Habibullah R/O Kondbal 02.Muzaffar Ahmad Dar S/O Noor Mohd R/O Gangerhama 03.Fayaz Ahmad Shah S/O Sonauallah R/O Chek Yangoora 04.Ishfaq Ahmad Mir S/O Ab Rahim R/O Gulabagh. who indulged in illegal extraction of minor minerals i.e Sand and further unauthorised transportation within the District.
A team headed by Dr. Abdul Majid- JKPS, DySp Hqrs Ganderbal and Shri Muzaffar Jan DySp DAR Ganderbal along with SHO Police Station Kheerbawani Inspector Sajad Hussain seized 04 tippers bearing registration Nos.

loaded with illegally extracted sand from Nullah Sindh, Ganderbal.
In this connection case FIR No.61/2021 under sections 447, 379 IPC & 21 MMRD Act stands registered at Police Station Kheerbawani and investigation taken up.
