POONCH, JULY 13:
Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today reviewed the functioning of the Health Department and progress on the upcoming health infrastructure projects.
He directed the concerned to complete upcoming Sub Centres in Dandi Dara, Nar and Arai to enable the public to avail the benefits. He also asked the concerned to submit monthly progress report of these three Sub Centres.
While chairing the meeting, the DC reviewed the implementation of various central schemes of the Department which includes registration under SEHAT Scheme; making Poonch a Tuberculosis Free District, opening of Jan Aushadi Kendras in the district.
During discussion, Inder Jeet asked District Tuberculosis Officer to submit an action plan for intensifying the measures for eradication of tuberculosis in the district.
While discussing the SEHAT Scheme registration, the DC directed to the officers to achieve the target at the earliest. He also stressed upon the CMO to make the Jan Ayushadi Kendra functional before July 31.
The DC also directed the concerned officers to finalise all the District Capex Budget tenders within the given time period.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Madan Lal, Chief Medical Officer, G.A Malik, Assistant Commissioner Development, Rajesh Lakhan, Medical Superintendent, Executive Engineer of ISM, District Tuberculosis Officer, District Health officer, AD Food besides health officials were present.
