The programme was attended by PO ICDS, Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, Tehsildar Mandi, Shazad khan, District Social Welfare Officer, Shakeel Ahmed, Tehsil social welfare officer, Azam Rather besides concerned officers were present.
A colourful cultural programme was also presented on the occasion.
On the occasion, District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Inder Jeet said that the objective of the programme is to increase community participation and sensitization of the public who become vulnerable to drug abuse and to ensure reduction in drug abuse.
Finally, DC handed over 10 Scholarship
Sanction Letters to the orphan children under ICPS whereunder they shall be provided financial assistance of Rs.2000/month/child until they attain age 18.
Also, 15 hearing aid and 10 walking sticks were distributed to the needy.
