Kulgam June 11: About half a dozen emoyees during the intervening night of Thursday-Friday caught a bear and her two cubs in Sopat Tengpora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Reports reached the employees under the supervision of in charge wildlife control room Devsar Jahangir Ahmad succeeded in tranquilizing a bear and two bear cubs were also caught by using net and after they were shifted to wildlife sanctuary Daksum where they were set free.
According locals from the last few weeks, Two Bear cubs along with her mother had taken shelter in a hollow Chinar tree near the graveyard due to which locals were panicked.
After their capture by wildlife department locals had sigh of relief and they hailed efforts of department.
