KULGAM, APRIL 29: To ensure that people do not suffer at any level during the Corona Curfew, the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of officers, associations of traders, transporters at mini-secretariat here.
During the meeting it was informed that a robust and active mechanism has been put in place to ensure hassle-free movement of essential supplies and services to the people.
The DC directed all concerned to put in place an effective mechanism to ensure protocols are followed religiously at all levels.
During the meeting, the DC also took stock of availability of essentials in the district.
He also directed the EOs of all municipalities to intensify sanitation and cleanliness drives in their jurisdictions.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Medical Superintendent, DSP-HQ, BMOs, Tehsildars and other concerned.
Besides members of the trade union, Transport associations also attended the meeting.
