On 12 March at around 1100 hrs, Markul COB of 28 RR received a distress call from Gulam Nabi, ward member dardpura.Due to heavy snowfall and rain ,no veh was playing on road and labour pain started for women namely Khurshida begun w/o Muhammad kasim resident koshy mohalla dardpura. Immediately soldiers went on foot amidst inclement weather and on stretcher carried this women to roadhead 5 km away.Army ambulance further evacuated the lady to Sogam dist hospital .
