SHOPIAN FEBRUARY 19: Sachin Kumar Vaish today assumed the charge as Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian.
Soon after assuming the charge, the DC took an introductory meeting of district officers and sub-ordinate staff in his office chamber.
While addressing the meeting, the DC urged upon the officers and field functionaries to work with added dedication and honesty so that the present developmental scenario of the district is carried to its higher levels.
He sought co-operation from them to take the development profile of the district to new heights.
He said our thrust should be monitoring developmental works and welfare programmes at grassroots level adding that the district is famous and has also historical importance. He said that resolution of the public issues should be the priority of the District Administration.
Earlier, Additional Deputy Commissioner while welcoming the DC assured of all possible support for smooth functioning of the district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Director Planning and other officers besides sub-ordinate staff were present on the occasion.
