INTER VILLAGE BADMINTON TOURNAMENT CONDUCTED IN DAGARPURA
To positively engage youth of the area in Games, Sports and other extracurricular activities, Dagarpura COB of 5 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion (JAT) organized inter Village Badminton Tournament at Dagarpura Village today. A number of boys and girls of various age groups actively participated in the event drawing a huge spectators.
Separate tournaments for boys and girls were conducted. The winners and runners-up in each category were felicitated with trophies to include badminton racquets as well as cash prize.
The locals and elders appreciated the initiatives undertaken by the Army for conducting the tournament. Events such as these are a testimony of Indian Army’s commitment towards motivating youth and overall nation building.
