RAJOURI, JANUARY, 20: Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan on Wednesday visited the District Police Line-the venue for Republic Day function and reviewed the arrangements for the smooth celebration of the National Day.
He was accompanied by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandan Kohli; Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh; Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; Executive Engineer PWD Rajouri, Mohammad Zubair and DySP DAR, Zaheer Abbas, District Information Officer, Narinder Kumar and other concerned Officers and officials of PWD departments.
The DC asked the concerned officers to work in close coordination and ensure that all the required arrangements are made well in advance.
The DC took a round of district police lines and had discussions about the backup requirements, if any to be made by the district administration. The SSP Rajouri and Dy Sp DAR accompanied and elaborated the security arrangements put in place.
Meanwhile, the DC gave on spot instructions to ADC Rajouri to resolve the drinking water issue in the police line at an earliest.
